Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

The Threat Management Program Manager is responsible for leading the Threat Management/Workplace Violence Prevention Program, including preparedness, prevention, mitigation/response, and recovery efforts.

How you will make an impact:

  • Sets and enforces enterprise policies and procedures regarding response, management and documentation of workplace violence incidents in a global environment.
  • Updates company policies to remain aligned with industry best practices and government requirements. 
  • Conducts after-action reviews and case studies to continuously improve internal processes.
  • Partners closely with regional security teams, human resources, legal and management to assess/manage threats and concerning behaviors.
  • Serves as a threat assessment subject matter expert and leads investigations on all potential workplace violence situations. 
  • Partners closely with other business units to analyze company trends and spearheads prevention programs and awareness campaigns. 
  • Oversees all training programs related to workplace violence, reporting threats, and emergency response procedures.
  • Creates and documents standards for measuring the program's efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Researches and analyzes emerging security threats which could impact employees, company assets, or global operations.
  • Researches and prepares detailed threat assessments, regular metrics, and reports for dissemination to peers and senior leaders.
  • Partners closely with IT security in the development of an enterprise Insider Threat program.

Minimum Requirements

Requires a BA/BS degree in criminal justice, forensic psychology, social sciences or related field and a minimum of 6 years of experience with a major law enforcement, intelligence, public or private sector security organization; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite strongly preferred. CTM or CPP certification, previous experience overseeing a global workplace violence prevention program, and experience working in a behavioral health setting is strongly preferred.
