Supplier Development & Performance Management Third Party Risk Due Diligence Sr. Specialist

Our Supplier Development & Performance Management (SD&PM) team plays a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of reliable, compliant goods and services from suppliers to enable an uninterrupted supply of our products and services to our patients. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sr. Specialist to join our team and contribute to our mission of saving and improving lives around the world.
Responsibilities
- Partnering with external suppliers to ensure completion of the Supplier due diligence assessments in a timely manner
- Tracking, reviewing, and evaluating completed Supplier Due Diligence assessments
- Engaging business areas to communicate risks, educate them on the risks & mitigation plans, and seek approval and acceptance
- Implementing and tracking supplier mitigation plans to completion
- Serving as a Subject Matter Expert for routine mitigation plans
- Consulting with functional areas for high or complex risk mitigation plans
- Assisting with authoring department playbook and leading process improvements related to Third Party due diligence
- Serving as People manager, mentor, and coach to Supplier Risk Due Diligence Specialists and Associate Specialists on risk mitigation plans
Qualifications
Required
- BS/BA degree in Business, Engineering, Science, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Procurement, Compliance, Quality, Technical, or Manufacturing/Operations
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with both external suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Proven ability to create engaging and informative PowerPoint slides
- Experience in presenting complex information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences, both internally and externally
- Ability to effectively organize and prioritize tasks to ensure timely completion
- Ability to follow processes and assist with process improvement initiatives
- Ability to work in a matrix organization and leverage expertise from other internal departments
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop corrective and preventative actions
- Appreciation and respect for diversity of thought and inclusion
- Service mindset and growth mindset
- Strategic thinking capabilities to align departmental goals with organizational objectives
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English
Preferred
- Lean Six Sigma certification (e.g., Green Belt / Black Belt) or equivalent demonstrated process improvement experience
- Knowledge of French or Italian
- Knowledge of cGxPs and pharmaceutical/life science operations
- Specialized knowledge of Privacy, Security, IT, Finance risks
- Knowledge of Power BI to track and enhance department metrics
