As an intern at Amcor, you'll meet and learn from leaders across the organization, work on meaningful projects, and build the skills, knowledge and network that will propel your career forward. Amcor's Summer Internship Program is designed to encourage practical application of classroom concepts in an advanced industrial manufacturing environment. From Day 1, Interns are paired with a Mentor who serves as their primary trainer, main point of contact, and professional role model throughout the summer. Matches are made based on mutual fit between the student's field of interest, the Mentor's area of expertise, and the team's workload. For Summer 2026, Amcor's Lawrence plant has Mentors available for current college students seeking real-world experience in project or controls/automation engineering.
Amcor's Engineering Interns are dependable, curious, and not afraid to fail forward. They embrace the grind, take initiative, and proactively manage their resources amongst assigned projects, daily responsibilities, and impromptu tasks, ensuring their work meets expectations for safety, quality, and timeliness.
