Main Purpose of the Role
Lead the Supply Planning function for Thailand, managing a business size of ~€70M GSV to UAPL and partnering with Thailand Local Managed business (~€4M GSV with UTT). This role involves:
- Day-to-day operational planning
- Implementing new processes on evolving planning systems (Kinaxis)
- Collaborating with internal teams and contract manufacturers for innovations and product launches
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Supply Planning
- Liaise with sourcing units to review supply plans vs. confirmed orders
- Consolidate supply plans and share with Customer Service team
- Identify short-term capacity issues and prepare contingency plans
- Conduct Loss Tree Analysis for non-supplied orders
- Review KPIs with sourcing units (service level, compliance, loss reasons)
- Support S\&OP cycle by feeding supply plans and risks to demand planner
- Monitor and lead offshore supply planning operations
2. Capacity Planning
- Interlock medium-term (0–24 months) and long-term (2–5 years) capacity with sourcing units and Global Supply Chain
- Identify CapEx requirements and coordinate with Finance for evaluation
3. Sourcing Network Optimization
- Align UI sourcing strategy with Global Supply Chain
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through network optimization
4. Inventory Planning
- Define planning strategies (Make-to-Forecast vs. Make-to-Order)
- Set stock holding principles and replenishment guidelines
- Monitor DOH and manage SLOB (slow/non-moving stock)
5. Performance Management
- Define and track metrics for supply planning effectiveness
6. Customer Service & Order-to-Cash
- Act as primary contact for customers on supply chain requirements
- Ensure flawless execution of Customer Service KPIs (fill rates, on-time delivery)
- Lead digitization and capability improvement projects
- Manage order prioritization, backlog, claims, and documentation
- Drive efficiencies in new lane setups for product launches
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Supply Chain (APICS certification preferred)
- Experience: 4–5 years in Supply Chain, with at least 3 years in Supply Planning
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
