How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Total Gas & Chemical Management (TGCM) Operations group provides our semiconductor manufacturing customers with on site safe, reliable, and cost-effective management of the gases and chemicals needed on a daily basis in the production of electronics materials.  This service requires operating and maintaining gas and chemical distribution equipment and systems 24/7 without issue or interruption.

TGCM Specialist is responsible for the overall operations and processes of their assigned chemical delivery equipment. They will collaborate and advise with the maintenance team and customer on resolving equipment failures, process improvements, and new equipment installs, as well as, provide technical advice to the operations team.

  • Responsible for overall system operation and processes

  • Develops/revises preventative maintenance program in conjunction with maintenance staff and customer

  • Provide updates to customer on manufacturing interruptions

  • Review corrective maintenance backlog to ensure customer priorities are being met

  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding all contractual agreements with the customer for Maintenance Team activities.

  • Responsible for ensuring training of employees in all aspects of the operation.

  • Interface with customer contact concerning maintenance activities.

  • Perform investigations of equipment failures, including corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

  • Establish and maintain a strong relationship with the customer.

  • Coordinate with Site Manager, account manager and the customer.

  • Review component trends and suggest improvement to customer and OEM manufacture

  • Review existing standard operating procedures for accuracy

  • Update and maintain Standard Operation Procedures and Work Instructions.

  • Develop training plans for maintenance staff

  • Keep current all required documentation for OSHA, ISO, Air Liquide America, and Customer Audits

  • Safety Leadership is a primary accountability.

  • Develop, review and approve non standard work instructions and procedures

  • Review outstanding CMMS work orders and ensure updates are given to customer

  • Plan and execute plant shutdown R&M activities

  • During equipment interruptions provide technical guidance as needed

  • Available to answer calls/emails 24/7

  • Attend all required Air Liquide and customer meetings

  • Complete customer required reports by specified due date

  • Develop training plans for maintenance staff

  • Submit QE's(Quality Events), track on-time closure of associated actions

  • Perform new chemical distribution equipment acceptance walk in conjunction with customer and operations

  • Attend routine operations meetings (typically daily M-F)

  • Complete routine reports (internal and external)

  • Provide hands on assistance when needed

The Salary rate range for this position in New York is $85,000-$95,000

Are you a MATCH?

Required Qualifications:

  • High School degree or GED

  • 5 years experience in either TGCM, Field service or equipment commissioning in the Electronics industry

  • Good team leadership skills

  • High level understanding of chemical/Gas distribution systems, Fluid systems and PLC Controls

  • Strong emphasis on safety

  • Strong organizational skills, data collection/ organization, data analysis, reports

  • Strong oral and written communications, must thrive working across multiple entities including maintenance, operations, and the customer representatives

  • Must be self motivated to work through problems with multiple stakeholders driven towards resolution of problems

  • Must have a sense of ownership of all assigned equipment

  • Must be available to support operations at night and off-hours

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology Field Strongly Preferred
