About the Role

AIA Hong Kong is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to contribute to Quality Assurance team uplifting quality and standards in the organization. This role will provide SME advice across multiple projects/platforms to ensure delivery process adheres to defined best practice.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Work closely with senior service quality managers to build QA frameworks that are practical and applicable to be executed in projects / platforms
    • Provide constructive feedbacks to optimize & enhance the QA frameworks continuously
    • Execute QA frameworks, policy, metrics, methodologies and tools capable of delivering embedded quality management across enterprise-wide delivery platforms to maintain best practices and high-quality of application implementation and delivery
    • Assist key business and technology stakeholders (e.g. Product Owner, Platform Lead) and/or project stakeholders to develop the Quality management approach across a full range of IT delivery activities
    • Coordinate and liaise with business units, IT, external vendors, and/or project teams to resolve any quality issues
    • Manage the platform teams on building internal QM plans, standards, training and metrics
    • Manage onshore and offshore testing resources to support adherence to defined best practice
    • Maintain and measure the solution delivery quality and standard
    • Continuously assess project / platform teams’ delivery quality to identify areas for possible improvements in the testing procedures, frameworks, and practice
    • Communicate progress and issues through regular status reporting and meeting to the team, department, Management, and IT Steering Committee
    • Reviews and analyses project deliverables and metrics against prescribed quality tollgates
    • Support internal audit assessment and review activity

    Minimum Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT related disciplines
    • Minimum 6 years of IT industry experience with a strong emphasis on engagement across the breadth of delivery activities, highly effective stakeholder engagement, metrics definition and analysis and communication
    • Minimum 3 years of IT Solution Quality Assurance/Management
    • Excellent knowledge of Software Testing, Quality Assurance, Governance, Test Engineering, and agile concept
    • Strong knowledge of the SDLC with expertise in process and methodology, specifically in Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, DevOps environment
    • Experience in data analysis using quality metrics to identify and drive quality improvement initiatives across the SDLC
    • Knowledge of current industry-wide quality and test processes and practices, tools and techniques
    • Understanding of various testing phases and objectives in a software development lifecycle
    • Hands-on experience using Atlassian JIRA and Confluence
    • Excellent hands on working experience in managing test plan, test cases, and defects using tools including Jira
    • Proven experience in enterprise project deliveries
    • Able to work independently and in multitasking environment
    • Able to work in fast paced and challenging environments
    • Self-starter, creative thinking, proactive and enthusiastic and a team player
    • Excellent communication skills in English
