Role Description

• As a test automation lead you will have to develop test automation strategy for large complex projects in AGILE methodology. Design Test Automation, Execution and Lead automation delivery using HP QTP, Selenium and Cucumber tools. Should be able to design and execute Automation test cases for API web services with experience in Selenium, Web Driver and TestNG.
• Contribute to team agile planning activities and backlog prioritization and management. Ability to identify, verify, report, and regress bugs. Collaborates with product line stakeholders to understand and develop strategies, frameworks relating to their emerging demands. Drive innovation/adoption of Industry practices through investigation/institutionalization of New tools/methods/standards. Work with the development team to understand the technologies (Temporal, Mongo DB hosted on google cloud) and develop / implement automated testing tools for data comparison and transformation . A deep, practical understanding of SDLC processes including Requirements, Design, Development, Build, Release Management, and Quality Assurance.

Your key responsibilities

• Provide Test Automation management, leadership and technical guidance to Testing teams.
• Define Automated Testing Strategies, Selection of right set of tools and develop testing framework.
• Liaise with tech leads across squads (Architecture, SG/DB core build, Upstream,
• Downstream, Business, Operations, infrastructure services) and define potential areas of automation, identifying best tools, creation of Automation suite/scripts
• Works to design and implement functional tests that will ensure there is coverage of both expected and unexpected behavior.
• Actively seek opportunities to leverage central Automation testing services wherever deemed appropriate.

Your skills and experience

• Proficient understanding of SWIFT formats, HTTP request/response, REST API, XML , JSON,
• Hands on exposure of unit-testing frameworks like Junit
• Hands on exposure of Test automation framework using JAVA
• Hands on exposure to BDD Automation
• Experience in improving efficiency by identifying and automating test case
• Understanding of OOPs concepts and Hands on experience on programming language viz. Java / C# / Ruby / Python / TypeScript
• Experience on Test Automation Frameworks Page Object Model / Keyword driven/ Data driven / Hybrid
• Experience on handing Test Automation in Agile / DevOps way of working using BDD/ATDD with tools like Cucumber/SpecFlow/Jbehave /PyTestBDD
• Good Understanding on Service layer architecture testing techniques & tools : RESTful API or any other relevant tool
