The Manager Test & Validation will be responsible for leading all aspects of test and validation for our AGV products across the entire EMEA region. This includes comprehensive software testing, full AGV system validation, use case validation, and critical safety validation. You will define and drive the mid- and long-term strategy for test automation, integrate new technologies, and ensure robust, region-wide validation workflows that meet our stringent quality, safety, and performance standards. Your leadership will ensure timely, efficient, and complete validation processes, enabling safe and reliable product releases throughout EMEA.

Tasks and Qualifications:
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all test and validation employees across the EMEA region, overseeing a team of 6–12 engineers.
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans throughout the product lifecycle, from initial development to final validation.
- Drive the full AGV validation process, including:
- Defining and executing use case validation scenarios.
- Ensuring rigorous safety validation according to industry standards.
- Overseeing all software testing activities.
- Build and execute the long-term strategy for test automation and validation across EMEA.
- Develop and maintain state-of-the-art software and hardware test benches, including:
- Collaborating with software development teams to define precise test requirements.
- Sourcing and procuring necessary equipment from global suppliers.
- Programming advanced automated test sequences.
- Implementing sophisticated automated reporting systems.
- Coordinate and execute all validation tests for new AGV software and system releases across the region.
- Research, evaluate, and deploy new technologies and simulation tools to continuously improve testing efficiency and coverage across EMEA.
- Manage the capacity planning and budget for the entire EMEA Test & Validation team.
- Facilitate high-level coordination meetings with developers, product owners, and project leaders to ensure seamless integration of validation activities.
- Ensure all testing activities are performed in strict compliance with international safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related technical field (preferred).
- Strong familiarity with complex AGV systems, electrical diagrams, and integrated hardware/software architectures.
- 5–10 years’ progressive experience in software, hardware, or system testing, with significant experience in full system validation, safety validation, and test bench development.
- Proven experience in leading and managing a regional team of engineers (6+ direct reports).
- Proficient in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Dutch or other European languages is a plus.
- Openness for occasional international travel within the EMEA region.
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, organizational, and cross-functional communication skills.
