Test Technician

We are looking for a Test Technician to join our Portland, OR site.

The Test Tech performs a variety of tasks related to the testing of raw materials, manufactured products or manufacturing processes. Perform equipment calibration & testing and testing & program inspections.

Location: Portland, OR

Hourly Rate: $19-$22/hour

Your Challenge

• Receive, organize, inventory and prioritize incoming test specimens received from the machine shop
• Perform daily hand tools calibration over checks
• Inspect, identify, perform and record dimensions of various test specimen geometries and configurations using flat/point micrometers and flat/point calipers
• Operate test equipment to perform room and elevated temperature tensile/compression, charpy impact, stress rupture testing and rotating beam fatigue testing
• Handle precision instrumentation and equipment with care as directed
• Communicate data, workflow, equipment and all other lab related information
• Accurately complete datasheets using manual and exported data

What You Bring

• 1-2 years lab experience
• Familiar with measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Associate’s, Bachelors, or equivalent experience
