Vienna, Austria (Hybrid)Hitachi Rail in Austria is a full system provider and global supplier of route and train control technology and traffic management systems (e.g. Electronic interlockings, Field elements, Operation Control Centers and dispatching systems, European Train Control System (ETCS)).
As part of the test team, you will be responsible for coordinating testing activities and integrating components for new ETCS Level 1 solutions. Definition and alignment of Test Plan and Strategy with project
Planning and coordination of functional, security, performance and safety test campaigns
Preparation, verification and release of test reports and documentation
Definition and execution of test project plan (scope, timelines, efforts, dependencies, …) in strong cooperation with project management team
Close collaboration with development, security, safety and quality assurance
Communicate status and critical issues clearly in a short and concise format
Manage issues and risks, create mitigation plans and escalate if necessary
Coordination of the delivery of the automatic test framework and simulation
Execution and definition of test cases in SIL4 Embedded enviroment if needed
You have a technical degree (HTL/TU/FH) in Informatics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
A minimum of 5 years proven working experience in Test Management
Experience or interest in technical test activities in a multi-stakeholder environment
ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager certification is an advantage
Experience with CENELEC standards is a plus
Competitive mindset, strong desire to “win” paired with a great team spirit
Excellent communication in English language, German language beneficial
Experience with Test Automation; knowledge of Java, Gherkin/Cucumber, Maven and Jenkins is an advantage
The salary for this position starts at € 70.000 gross p.a. Actual compensation is based on experience and qualification.
