About the role

The Test Manager is responsible for building, stabilising and maturing the testing capability within the CMT Operations team. This role leads the testing chapter for the Customer Markets Technology Operations team, driving best practice test strategies, automation, and tool adoption to improve quality, efficiency, and speed of delivery.

You’ll work closely with operations and platform teams to embed consistent, scalable testing practices across Technology and ensure alignment with the Delivery and Engineering Managers across the CMT Operations function.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Define and execute a comprehensive testing strategy that mitigates risk and enables faster, high-quality delivery

  • Establish and mature testing frameworks, methodologies and standards across programs and platforms

  • Develop and integrate automated testing frameworks into CI/CD pipelines

  • Lead all testing activities, including planning, execution, reporting and quality metrics for CMT Operations

  • Identify and manage testing risks, issues and remediation actions

  • Lead, coach and develop in-house and vendor testing resources across onsite and offsite models

  • Drive continuous improvement through best practices, tooling optimisation and cost efficiencies

  • Be an active member of the Customer Markets Technology Operations leadership team

What You’ll Bring

  • Extensive experience in software testing in Senior Test Manager or Practice Lead roles

  • Strong expertise across testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and test types (functional and non-functional)

  • Proven experience implementing test automation frameworks and CI/CD integration

  • Strong leadership capability with experience managing multi-vendor and distributed teams

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

  • Strong problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
