Within this mission-driven environment, Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) plays a critical role in ensuring our products are safe, reliable, maintainable, and delivered on time. LCE is comprised of multiple disciplines that provide essential support to engineering teams, program offices, and our customers. These disciplines are engaged throughout the entire product life cycle, from conception through deactivation, with a primary focus on product support across Reliability, System Safety, and Supportability.
In support of this mission, we have an exciting opportunity for a Test Equipment / Technical Support Lead within the Land and Strategic Missile Defense business area. You will work with a team responsible for providing data driven and solutions and training to the customer covering a wide range of technical subjects including, electrical, electromechanical, mechanical, hydraulic, energy, and test systems Additionally, you’ll provide logistics support to the maintenance facilities around the world, full time on-site support at one CONUS maintenance facility, and on-site support for other facilities as required.
What You Will Do
Lead a team of engineers in coordinating technical support for missile operations and test to assure customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with other engineering organizations including Test Engineering Design and with the USG customer for future test station design opportunities for facilities both CONUS and OCONUS
Assist onsite customer Depot technical personnel with problem solving around technical scope, budget and schedule
Propose changes to Depot hardware and software based on obsolescence/upgrades/updates to factory test equipment and procedures
Maintain configuration at the Depots as required by approved changes to the hardware/software associated with the system and test equipment
Update, validate and distribute Depot operational procedures involvement with new procedures as program needs and system changes require
Provide training for Depot personnel on upgraded equipment
Modify Depot equipment and software as a result of approved Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs)
Lead EXIM RGEMs for data management systems/ program reviews with the customer for the Patriot Missile Programs
Assess ECP impacts for the facilities and missile processing and coordination of all monthly communication calls with missile processing facilities.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
Experience working with test stations.
Leadership experience.
Qualifications We Prefer
Ability to lead a team through multiple technical projects and customer requests in a fast-paced operations environment
Develop technical presentations to large audiences including the U.S. and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers
Experience with System assembly, disassembly and test
Experience developing and troubleshooting System level Test equipment
Experience leading teams of 4+ engineers on day to day tasking
Experience managing technical scope, budget & schedule of greater than $3M
Earned Value Management System (EVMS) certified
Experience National instruments LabView or LabWindows software packages, PXI, myDAQ, Compact RIO, or myRIO hardware.
Experience with C/C+ software programing languages
Experience with Autodesk inventor, digital signal processing, power electronics, FPGA, and RF Antenna
Understanding and wide application of engineering experience
Experience with Oracle databases and Sequel Queries
Experience with MS Office tools

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
