Roles and Responsibilities:

KBR is seeking a mid-senior level Test Engineer/Analyst to provide technical and programmatic support to the T&E Directorate of the Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office.  This role is specifically focused on supporting the PATRIOT Ground Support Equipment (PGSE) Test Program, including ongoing and long-range test planning activities. 

  • A test analyst in this position is expected to be self-motivated, possessing strong written and verbal communications skills, and support or lead the following events/items:
  • Test plan and objectives development
  • Test requirements development
  • Test documentation preparation & review
  • Test resources planning and coordination
  • Test scheduling Data collection & analysis
  • Preparation of reports such as Quick-Look and final Test Reports
  • Brief test report results

Required Qualifications:

  • US citizenship
  • 7+ years T&E experience with Air and Missile Defense (AMD) systems such as PATRIOT,  IBCS, & LTAMDS
  • Experience supporting / leading radar ground and missile flight test missions
  • BS degree OR additional 8 years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Secret clearance, or the ability to obtain one
  • Ability to travel up to 8 weeks per year (typical duration is no more than 2 weeks at a time)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BS Engineering degree
  • Experience supporting/leading PATRIOT Radar ground and missile flight test missions
  • Experienced with System of System test operations
  • Experienced working the DoW Army acquisition process / guidance for testing
  • Assist with and perform test research, development, and other customer-directed assignments in conformance with technical design, engineering, and customer specifications
  • Experience leading IPTs and WGs
  • Experience developing and briefing technical material to senior leadership / stakeholders
  • Experience working within the Joint Analysis Test (JAT) team environment
  • Experience developing test plans and other supporting technical documentation
  • Experience interpreting test objectives from system requirements
  • Familiarity working within the Test Event Management Team (TEMT) construct
  • Analyzes system architecture and component and subassembly test plans to eliminate unnecessary redundancy and align capabilities across multiple programs and/or agencies
  • Supports design, interpretation, and analysis of technical solutions to complex discipline-specific T&E tasks
  • Familiar with radar modeling and simulations
  • Experience working on (applicable to ground and/or flight tests):
    • Test plan designs
    • Test resource requirements
    • Test scenarios
    • Performance analysis
    • Production qualification testing
    • Requirements testing
    • Post-mission test analysis and reporting
  • Experience developing and briefing technical material to a broad audience in meetings such as Working Groups (WGs), Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Technical Interchange Meetings, Peer Reviews, Test Readiness Reviews, Program Management Reviews, etc.
  • Working knowledge of the DoW Army Acquisition process & Test and Evaluation
