At our location in Darmstadt we are currently looking for a

 

Test Engineer, Staff (m/f/d)

 

to take a leading role in the planning, execution and continuous improvement of complex testing activities in a highly technical environment.


Your tasks

 

  • Lead technical focal point for complex test activities, including responsibility technical reviews and test-related release decisions
  • Representation of test strategies and technical solutions towards internal and external stakeholders
  • Subject matter expert role for complex technical issues, applying holistic solution approaches considering functionality, safety and efficiency
  • Responsibility for the planning, execution and safeguarding of complex test setups and test campaigns, including safety-critical boundary conditions
  • Contribution to product development and change management activities, including technical assessment and coordination of test-related changes
  • Development, implementation and continuous improvement of test processes, methods and standards
  • Execution of complex technical and methodological analysis and derivation of corrective measures
  • Coordination and alignment with cross-functional and international expert teams along the entire development and testing cycle
  • Preparation, documentation and communication of test results and technical recommendations to relevant stakeholders

 

Your profile

 

  • Master’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent qualification with strong functional expertise
  • Extensive professional experience in testing of complex technical systems in an industrial or automotive environment
  • Several years of experience in planning, validation and execution of complex test activities, including advanced test infrastructures and safety-critical test conditions (e.g. salt spray chambers, temperature and climate chambers, electrodynamic shakers, cell and module test benches)
  • High level of autonomy and technical accountability in a complex and dynamic environment
  • Proven ability to solve novel and complex problems, developing new solution patterns where required
  • Strong analytical skills and structured working mindset
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to represent technical content to diverse stakeholder groups
  • Experience in functional leadership, including coordination of interdisciplinary project teams
