Junior Test Engineer

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Test Engineer with a strong background in manual and automation testing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in comprehensive testing of system applications and web-based applications, with a focus on delivering high-quality software products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual and automation testing
- Perform functional, regression, and GUI testing for various applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement
- Develop and maintain test automation scripts using Selenium, Java, and TestNG
- Conduct adhoc testing and report defects using Jira
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and analyze test results
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in manual testing
- 6+ months of experience in automation testing
- Proficient in Java, Selenium IDE, WebDriver, and TestNG
- Knowledge of Agile methodology and SDLC/STLC
- Experience with defect management tools like Jira and Qtest
- Good understanding of SQL and database concepts
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
