Test Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Test Automation Engineer you will be deeply involved in every phase of the product development cycle defining, implementing and executing tests, manual and automated, report status, testing progress, and measuring performance. This role involves authoring and automating test plans, designing scripts for regression and critical workflows, and driving debugging processes across complex software components. By collaborating closely with developers, product designers, and support teams, you will help deliver defect fixes and enhancements aligned with product goals. 

Responsibilities and Duties

• Author and automate test plans, test specification for the product features;
• Design and develop scripts to automate feature regressions and critical workflows;
• Drive tests and debug processes of multiple complex components of software technologies, systems, and applications;
• Work with various developers, product designers, and customer support engineers within the company to deliver defect fixes and enhancements that follow the overall product direction;
• Troubleshoot, analyze, and isolate defects and report them to a bug tracking database (such as JIRA).

Essential Skills

• Experience with Java, Playwright, JUnit;
• Experience testing RESTful services;
• Strong ability to design and automate test specifications and workflows.
