Job Summary

VALEO INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Test and Validation Intern to contribute to the quality assurance and reliability of our innovative automotive products. This role offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced engineering environment, focusing on testing procedures and validation processes.

Job Responsibilities

* Assist in the development and execution of test plans and test cases for automotive embedded systems and components.
* Perform functional, performance, and regression testing on various software and hardware modules.
* Document test results, identify defects, and report issues to relevant engineering teams.
* Support in setting up and maintaining test benches and equipment.
* Participate in debugging and root cause analysis of identified issues.
* Collaborate with senior engineers to understand product requirements and design specifications.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing methodologies and tools.
* Learn and apply industry standards and best practices for quality assurance in the automotive sector.

Job Qualifications

* Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
* Basic understanding of embedded systems and software development lifecycles.
* Familiarity with testing concepts, methodologies, and tools (e.g., test case management, bug tracking).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
* Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., C/C++, Python) is a plus.
* Prior experience with automotive electronics or a genuine interest in the automotive industry is desirable.
