About your team

The Technology function provides IT services to the Fidelity International business, globally.  These include the development and support of business applications that underpin our revenue, operational, investment, compliance, finance, legal, marketing and customer service functions.  The broader organisation incorporates Infrastructure services that the firm relies on to operate on a day-to-day basis including data centre, networks, proximity services, security, voice, incident management and remediation. The Central team comprises systems development and support specialists that provide support to departments such as HR Services, Finance, Corporate Services, Legal and Compliance, Risk and Technology across various geographic locations. The services include Production Support of in-house developed application and vendor provided products, small scale enhancements and product.

About your role

The position is for an experienced Testing resource in the Central Technology team and will primarily be responsible for liaising with the development and business teams to script and execute effective and efficient Functional/Systems Integration Testing for HR Projects like Workday. This will involve creation, execution and Maintaining of all functional and non-functional testing activities, including developing functional test suites for:

•           Functional Test Scenarios/Execution for various modules

•           Existing Integrations that will be updated as part of this implementation

•           New Integrations that will be built for specific configurations

You will be joining this position as a Test Analyst and therefore be responsible for executing testing activities for all applications under CE Technology based out of India. Here are the expectations and probably how your day in a job will look like:

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand business needs and analyse requirements and user stories to carry out different testing activities.
• Collaborate with developers and BA’s to understand new features, bug fixes, and changes in the codebase.
• Create and execute functional as well as automated test cases on different test environments to validate the functionality
• Log defects in defect tracker and work with PM’s and devs to prioritise and resolve them.
• Develop and maintain automation script, preferably using python stack.
• Deep understanding of databases both relational as well as non-relational.
• Document test cases, results and any other issues encountered during testing.
• Attend team meetings and stand ups to discuss progress, risks and any issues that affects project deliveries
• Stay updated with new tools, techniques and industry trends.
• Knowledge of engineering practices including integration of automation test suite with CI / CD pipelines

Qualifications and Experience:

• B.E./B.Tech. or M.C.A. in Computer Science or AI/ML from a reputed University.
• Experienced Test analyst with 2-4 years of hands-on experience
• Prior experienced of working on Workday preferred
• Hands-on experience in automating web and backend automation using open-source tools (Playwright, pytest, Selenium).
• Proficiency in writing and understanding complex db queries in various databases
• Good understanding of cloud (AWS, Azure)
• Preferable to have finance investment domain.
• Strong logical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• Preferred programming language Python and Java.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) for automating deployment and testing workflows
• Experience in leveraging AI for Test case creation and execution
   

Desirable Attributes:

• Knowledge of data security and privacy practices.
• Certifications in cloud services or AI/MLOps tools.
