JOB DESCRIPTION:
Job Title: Territory Manager – Neuromodulation (DBS & CPT)
Location: The Netherlands, focus on the southern region
Position Summary
The Territory Manager is responsible for driving sales of the Neuromodulation DBS and CPT product lines within the assigned region. This role leverages Abbott’s comprehensive product portfolio to maximize revenue and ensure profitable growth for the Neuromodulation Division. The position requires adherence to the highest ethical standards and alignment with Abbott’s guiding principles.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Achieve Annual Sales Targets: Deliver sales objectives as outlined in the annual business plan.
- Maintain Pricing Standards: Ensure or improve ASP (Average Selling Price) for the product portfolio in the assigned territory.
- Promote Products: Coordinate marketing activities, including product presentations and competitor analysis, to strengthen Abbott’s visibility and competitive position.
- Key Account Development: Collaborate with the Key Account team to support strategic customers through high-value programs.
- Support Internal Teams: Provide timely and accurate information to Bids & Tenders and Customer Service teams.
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and develop strong relationships with healthcare professionals and decision-makers.
- Cross-Functional Communication: Foster effective collaboration with Sales & Marketing departments.
- Leadership & Compliance: Demonstrate leadership aligned with Abbott’s guiding principles and ensure compliance with all quality procedures.
- Market Support: Assist the Neuromodulation Marketing Division with projects and tasks specific to the Dutch market.
- Reporting: Prepare concise monthly activity reports and outline plans for the upcoming month.
- Technical Expertise & Education: Deliver high-level technical support and training to customers within the territory.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on technical knowledge and healthcare market dynamics.
Education & Competencies
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferably in Medical or Technical fields).
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
- Minimum of 2 years of successful hospital clinical sales and support experience.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High flexibility and ability to manage pressure effectively.
- Positive, proactive attitude with strong leadership qualities.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the territory and occasionally across Europe.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in relevant software tools.
