Territory Business Manager (MA)

Remote, MA Full Time

About Us

InStride Health’s mission is to deliver specialty anxiety and OCD care that works for every kid, teen, young adult, and family who needs it. Through this mission, we are expanding access to insurance-based care, increasing engagement in treatment, and improving treatment outcomes. We are doing this by combining research-backed clinical care and innovative technology to eliminate the major problems with care today: difficulty finding providers, months of waiting to be seen, arduous onboarding processes, and inconsistent use of evidence-based therapies and outcomes tracking. Our vision is to become the nation’s most trusted provider of pediatric anxiety and OCD care.

Team InStride Health: Our Core Values

  • Give Heart: We lead with heart, treating patients and their families the way we want our loved ones to be treated.
  • Work Smart: We find smarter ways to solve hard problems and fix the broken mental health system by leveraging technology, diversity of thought, and innovation.
  • Have Humility: We leave our egos at the door, empowering our team to collaborate, celebrate diversity, and adopt a growth mindset.
  • Embrace Community: We all belong. We are in this together, and we never worry alone. We believe in each other and recognize that every voice matters.

About the Role

InStride Health is entering an exciting period of rapid growth. We are looking for a Territory Manager to lead efforts to establish and expand partnerships with healthcare providers across Massachusetts. In this role, you will build and manage a high-performing referral network, strengthen relationships with healthcare professionals, and ensure a seamless patient referral experience. Success will be measured by referral partner growth, referral volume, and patient enrollments within your assigned territory.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Serve as a subject matter expert on InStride’s services and confidently communicate InStride’s value proposition to a wide range of clinical and operational stakeholders.
  • Develop and grow referral relationships across your assigned markets, including health system executives, program leaders, referral coordinators, and influential clinicians.
  • Maintain a consistent servicing cadence with existing referral partners to drive satisfaction, performance, and continued referrals.
  • Identify and develop new referral channels and community partnerships to expand access to treatment.
  • Partner with Marketing to plan and execute local campaigns and events that drive referral and intake growth.
  • Deliver presentations and attend local and regional conferences and events to increase community awareness of InStride; bring clinical and operational partners into meetings as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with clinical leaders, operations, and growth teams to develop regional strategies to improve referral performance.
  • Meet individual performance targets and proactively communicate progress and performance trends.
  • Maintain accurate records in InStride’s CRM and sales tools to track pipeline activity, partner engagement, and outcomes.
  • Gather and communicate referral partner feedback; partner with Product, Engineering, and Client Success to improve the referral experience and InStride’s solutions.

What You Need to Succeed in the Role

  • 3–5+ years of experience in healthcare outreach, provider business development, sales/marketing, healthcare operations, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of provider ecosystems, including large health systems, medium/large primary care and pediatric practices, and affiliated provider networks.
  • Based in Massachusetts with experience building referral relationships in the region.
  • Proven track record of relationship building and territory growth.
  • Ability to leverage internal teams and resources effectively; you take a “quarterback” approach to building markets.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with local performance data (e.g., referrals, scheduled intakes, conversion rates, pipeline activity).
  • Clear communicator with excellent organization and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Comfortable using CRM tools and reporting/analytics platforms.
  • Willingness to travel as needed based on partnership needs.

The expected annual base salary for this role is $80,000–$110,000. Actual starting salary will be based on skills, experience, and other factors. In addition to base compensation, this role offers a target performance-based bonus.

Why Join Our Team

  • Generous benefits package (401k with match, Flexible PTO, paid holidays, 4 week paid sabbatical, 12 week paid parental leave, health benefits starting on your first day, and more)
  • Opportunity to join a mission-driven company that is changing the landscape of pediatric mental health treatment
  • Chance to make a far-reaching impact by helping children and families access desperately-needed, evidence-based care
  • Opportunity to work with talented and experienced team members who have devoted their lives to solving this problem
