In this role, you will take end-to-end ownership of a defined geography, translating strategy into action at pace. You will accelerate the adoption of new and key medicines by aligning field execution with brand priorities, strengthening relationships with hospitals and clinics, and ensuring our products are visible where they matter most. Your work will directly influence market performance and the reach of healthcare services to patients, while feeding insights back across the business to sharpen future plans.

You will operate in a fast paced, cross-functional environment—bridging scientific innovation with real-world healthcare delivery. By combining thorough performance management with credible customer engagement, you will help shape how our medicines are understood, adopted, and sustained over time.

Accountabilities:

  • Sales Strategy Execution: Translate national and regional strategies into a territory roadmap, prioritizing high-impact activities and following company policies.

  • Territory Performance Leadership: Supervise performance against objectives, diagnose gaps, and implement targeted interventions that keep the territory on or above plan.

  • Launch and Access Acceleration: Coordinate the introduction of freshly introduced and priority products in hospitals and clinics to expand availability and improve patient reach.

  • Strategic Market Analysis: Analyze market dynamics and competitor activity to see opportunities and risks; convert insight into actionable territory tactics.

  • Promotional Program Delivery: Participate in and implement promotional activities that raise product awareness, measuring impact and refining plans to increase return.

  • Customer Engagement Excellence: Build confidence and reliability with healthcare professionals and decision-makers by maintaining integrity and following the AZ Code of Conduct.

  • Data and CRM Subject Area: Maintain accurate client segmentation, database entries, and call records; use data to improve call quality and prioritization.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify personal development needs and partner with your First Line Sales Manager to build capabilities and share best practices across the team.

Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Effectively implement sales strategy and tactics, plan of action (POA) in accordance with company policies.

  • Regularly monitor territory’s sales performance to initiate appropriate actions to ensure performance is in line with objectives.

  • Facilitate enlistment of newly launched and key products in hospitals and clinics.

  • Conduct analysis of market/competitors to identify territory business opportunities

  • Participate in promotional activity programs to increase product awareness in the market.

  • Update territory customer classification, database and call records continuously

  • Build trust and credibility with customers by demonstrating professionalism acting within the AZ Code of Conduct

  • Identify areas for self-development and discuss developmental needs with FLSM

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Proven success leading hospital formulary enlistment and tender processes

  • Experience driving adoption during early launch phases and sustaining growth in competitive markets

  • Strong command of CRM and analytics tools to guide territory decisions and optimize call planning

  • Established relationships with hospital administrators, pharmacy committees, and key opinion leaders

  • Therapeutic-area experience in specialty care or chronic disease management

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and influence without authority

  • Clear, concise communicator with resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
