Job Purpose
GSK is looking to hire a Territory Associate to join our Respiratory Care Team. This role is field-based and reports directly to the District Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will reside in or near Edmonton, Alberta.


As a Territory Associate, you will be responsible for executing strategic business plans that drive customer engagement and maximize the value of GSK’s innovative portfolio. You will lead business development initiatives, foster meaningful customer relationships, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure the successful implementation of marketing strategies. Your ability to demonstrate business acumen, communicate effectively, and work autonomously will be critical to success. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs), marketing, and other internal partners, to support GSK’s mission to help Canadians do more, feel better, and live longer.

Basic Qualifications:  
We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, marketing, or related field 

  • Minimum 2+ years of sales experience liaising with healthcare professionals

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within the assigned territory

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain professional relationships

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Ability to analyze data and use insights to inform strategy and decision-making

  • Strong organizational and time management skills to manage a large territory

  • High learning agility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic environment

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and contribute to team success

  • A proactive and results-driven mindset with a passion for making a difference

Preferred Qualifications:  
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Experience in pharmaceutical sales or a related healthcare industry

  • Proven ability to interpret scientific research and communicate findings effectively

  • Familiarity with or prior experience working within the Edmonton north territory or Alberta healthcare landscape is an asset

In compliance with Ontario's provincial pay transparency legislation, this job posting includes a salary range to support equitable and informed hiring practices. The annual compensation for this role is CAD69,000 to CAD115,000 , determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
