Considered a skilled specialist within area of expertise and applies extensive knowledge to complete duties/tasks. Applies knowledge and acquired job skills to complete a wide range of difficult tasks/duties. Work is completed with minimal direct supervision. May be looked upon within the work group as the "expert" or informal leader to lesser experienced team members. Has thorough understanding of the implications of work being performed and may offer recommendations/solutions to issues.
Maintenance/Operations
Coordinate with Logistics for daily over/short analysis
Liaise with Measurement for meter ticketing and proving
Conduct project walkouts with E&C and Ops Engineering and coordinate P&ID redline changes for projects
Assist Operations with trending HMIs and development of PI Vision
Assist Operations with optimization projects (radars, vapor automation, dock line testing, etc.)
Provide hands-on-support to Maintenance Operators and Operations Department during outages, projects, and periods of increased workload.
Coordinate vehicle maintenance for facility assets to include state inspections, oil changes, and tire replacements.
Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly Hexagon tasks for operations
Conduct daily utility checks (air compressors, nitrogen, MVRU gases)
Inventory Management
Maintain warehouse inventory and order supplies through Arbia for Operations, Technicians, and Maintenance. Keeping these materials stocked prevents delays and supports uninterrupted workflow across the facility. Routinely manages orders through Ariba between $25-50k per month.
Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry picker for large incoming and outgoing shipments.
Manage annual blanket PO’s ~$200k for vendors/contractors keeping the facility supported with the materials and services.
Manage terminal’s fuel supply with third-party vendors
Coordinate with Maintenance Department to assist with maintaining critical spare inventory
Safety/Environmental
Assist Planning/Conduct mechanical LOTO
Conduct contractor Inspections to enforce zero-incident culture
Issue ATWs to support contractors, technicians, and operations
Support terminal as EPOC.
Lead terminal’s monthly facility walkout program to identify great catches, near misses, corrective work orders, and optimization opportunities
Conduct PSSR’s and Tank Return to Service activities
Compliance
Assist with managing Hexagon asset data and organization to ensure accurate tracking of equipment, materials, and work history to support long-term strategic planning and asset management.
Assist Operations in executing facility labeling
Assist terminal with company, customer, and regulatory audit preparation
Training
Conduct site orientation and PSM training as required for third-party contractors, inspectors, and tankermen.
Conduct initial operator training upon hire, refresher training for operations, training for operator qualifications, and track status of Operator and Maintenance Operator OQ’s.
Coordinate / Evaluator OQ testing for Operations Department
Lead annual SSP reviews, make updates, and conduct implementation training with Operations Department
Assist with developing OEM material and assist leading monthly OEM’s
Education
H.S. Diploma required
Work Experience
At least 5 years related work experience
