As Terminal Head of Finance you will be responsible for:

You will lead the full finance agenda for the terminal and act as a trusted business partner to the Managing Director.

• Lead and ensure efficient end‑to‑end accounting processes, including Record‑to‑Report, Order‑to‑Cash, and Requisition‑to‑Pay
• Own financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management to drive optimal financial results
• Provide data‑driven insights, benchmarks, and scenarios to support strategic and operational decision‑making
• Establish and maintain robust internal control, risk management, and compliance frameworks, including tax and treasury responsibilities
• Drive investment analysis, capital allocation, and follow‑up on business cases
• Act as finance representative toward regional finance, HQ functions, authorities, and external stakeholders
• Lead, develop, and inspire the local finance organization, while coordinating closely with remote and global finance teams

You bring the experience and capabilities required to succeed in a highly operational and dynamic terminal environment:

• Proven experience as a senior finance leader (CFO, Head of Finance, or equivalent) in a business‑critical, operational setting
• Strong hands‑on capability with the ability to move seamlessly between detail and helicopter perspective in a lean organization
• Solid background in financial business partnering, controlling, and performance management at business unit or group level
• Deep understanding of accounting, reporting, budgeting, and internal control in complex, capital‑intensive operations
• Demonstrated leadership skills with experience developing teams, influencing senior stakeholders, and working effectively in a matrix organization
• Experience from industrial, logistics, automotive, or similarly operations‑heavy environments is highly valued.
• You are comfortable working in changing conditions, able to stay calm under pressure, and confident challenging assumptions to improve outcomes.
• English is required; Swedish is an advantage but not mandatory.

APM Terminals is a critical infrastructure operator. Therefore, a background check as well as alcohol and drug testing are always conducted prior to any offer of employment. For positions classified as security‑sensitive, a security clearance including a criminal records check is also required, in accordance with the Security Protection Act.
