About the role
We are now looking for a Tendering Specialist. You will be part of an international team of 11 people with offices in Sweden, Finland and Denmark.
In this role, you will combine technical and commercial expertise. And you will be driving and developing the tendering and quotation process.
You will translate customer needs and business challenges into competitive offerings from Hitachi Grid and Power Quality Solutions and Services. Working closely with customers, our sales organization and other internal functions. You will ensure high quality throughout the tender process. And be part of a team that is passionate about continuous improvement, quality and collaboration. As a Tendering Specialist at HITACHI ENERGY DENMARK A/S, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting competitive and accurate bids and proposals for our high-voltage products and solutions, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and company strategy.
Job Responsibilities
Work in partnership with Global customer to prepare and review coming opportunities and customer pipeline management (lead times, planning, etc).
Analyze Request for Proposals (RFPs), Invitations to Bid (ITBs), and other tender documents to understand customer needs, technical specifications, and commercial terms.
Coordinate with sales, engineering, legal, project management, and other internal stakeholders to gather necessary information and inputs for bid preparation.
Develop comprehensive and compelling technical and commercial proposals, including scope of work, technical solutions, pricing, risk assessments, and contractual deviations.
Prepare and present tender reviews to management, clearly articulating proposed solutions, pricing strategies, and risk profiles.
Participate in post-tender clarifications and negotiations with customers, supporting the sales team to secure successful contract awards.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or similar), Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a tendering, proposals, or sales support role within the energy, industrial, or related sectors.
Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
Strong understanding of high-voltage products, systems, and solutions (e.g., transformers, switchgear, substations, grid integration).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken; Strong Danish language skills are a must.
