About France & Belgium cluster:

Ferring+You

You will be responsible for monitoring public tenders, preparing and continuously optimizing supply chain plans for Ferring Belgium and overseeing the logistics and supply chain processes, ensure that products move smoothly from suppliers to customers. 

Your day at Ferring

Management of hospital tenders (50%):

  • Oversee purchasing procedures and ensure compliance with public procurement regulations.
  • Ensure deadlines are met.
  • Evaluate and monitor the performance of these procedures using specific indicators such as notification times and the number of disputes.
  • Ensure reporting of tenders to management

For Supply Chain management activities (50%):

  • Participate in the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings for Belgium with the Belgian Sales Director and the France - Belgium Logistics Manager
  • Analyze demand, supply and inventory trends.
  • Lead local supply chain operational and planning activities to ensure continuity of business operations.
  • Analyze supply chain performance and drive actions to optimize operational effectiveness and service levels
  • Manage inventory: monitor stock levels, ensure that inventory is maintained at optimal levels to meet demand without overstocking
  • Negotiate and alert on the risk of shortages based on order forecasts prepared by our headquarters in Switzerland
  • Coordinate logistics: transportation of goods, works closely with suppliers, transporters, the France – Belgium Logistics Manager and the Country sales Manager to ensure timely deliveries
  • Own and maintain the S&OP review files
  • Resolve any discrepancies that may arise with the France - Belgium logistics Manager
  • Use software tools to track shipments
  • Manage customer relations to ensure quality service and compliance with procedures established with depositaries
  • Collaborate with our logistics provider to maintain and update customer master data
  • Maintain correct prices in SAP and ensure those are correctly mirrored at our logistics partner
  • Manage wholesaler allocations
