The Global Trip Coordinator plays a vital role within the Global Ministries team, supporting the planning and execution of local, national, and international congregational trips. This position is responsible for logistical coordination, and budget management, ensuring that every trip is strategically aligned with the mission of the ministry. The role requires strong organizational skills, international travel experience, and a heart for discipleship and missions.
Principal Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Global pastors to execute, and support congregational trips.
- Coordinate all logistical aspects of trips, including flights, accommodations, ground transportation, travel insurance, and itinerary planning in partnership with approved travel agents and ministry partners.
- Host and lead monthly meetings with trip leaders to ensure thorough trip preparation.
- Manage and reconcile trip budgets.
- Maintain accurate records of trip expenses.
- Ensure proper data management through online filing systems and operational
- processes.
- Coordinate and participate in promotional events, department development meetings, and relevant team meetings.
- Exhibit excellent project and time management through calendar coordination using
- Microsoft Outlook and Monday boards.

- Demonstrated ability to lead and disciple others in a ministry context.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn internal database systems and new software platforms.
- Willingness to take initiative and adapt to evolving ministry needs.
- Must be a Gateway Church member or willing to become one.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a servant leadership mindset.
- Culturally sensitive and able to work with diverse groups and international partners.
- Experience with budgeting and financial reconciliation.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented ministry environment.
