Job Description:
Reporting to the Senior Director of One Stop Student Services, the One Stop Student Services & Admissions Services Assistant is a part-time role that provides flexible, front-line support across One Stop Student Services and Admissions Services. This position assists with day-to-day email, phone and in person service operations, student and applicant inquiries, and administrative tasks, stepping in where support is most needed to ensure smooth, responsive service delivery. The ideal candidate is adaptable, student-focused, and comfortable working across multiple teams and workflows.Provide front-facing service to current students, prospective students, and families via in-person, phone, and email communication
Assist One Stop Student Services with general inquiries related to registration, enrollment status, billing navigation, and institutional processes
Support Admissions Services with applicant inquiries, application processing, document tracking, and data entry
Serve as a flexible resource, shifting between offices based on daily operational needs and peak periods
Maintain accurate records in student information systems and admissions platforms
Collaborate with staff across both departments to ensure consistent and accurate information is shared
Assist with special projects, events, and peak-cycle initiatives as assigned
Uphold confidentiality and compliance with FERPA and institutional policies
Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
Experience with high volume email/phone call operations
Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt quickly to changing priorities
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Basic proficiency with office software (email, spreadsheets, databases)
Professional, approachable demeanor with a student-centered mindset
Experience working in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment
Previous experience in higher education, student services, admissions, or customer-facing roles
Experience with CRM Software like Salesforce
Part-time, up to 20 hours per week, Monday through Thursday.
Schedule may vary based on departmental needs, peak enrollment periods, and staffing coverage
The schedule will be as consistent as possible, but may adjust due to departmental needs and institutional priorities during the academic year.
This is a hybrid position, and will require some days in the office in Boston.
The pay rate for this position is $25/hour.
