Maravai LifeSciences is seeking a #MiracleMaker to join our manufacturing team as a Temporary Manufacturing Associate I, Oligo. As a Temporary Manufacturing Associate I, Oligo, you will support daily production operations by performing basic production tasks, preparing equipment and materials, executing routine workflows, and maintaining proper documentation. Works under close supervision within ISO-classified manufacturing spaces to produce research and clinical-grade components. Learns and applies operational procedures while developing foundational skills in oligo production technologies.
How you will make an impact:
- Reviews daily production tasks and follows established procedures for material preparation, equipment set-up, and execution of routine processes.
- Assists in preparing production areas for cGMP project initiation or changeover.
- Documents production activities by accurately completing forms, logs, and batch-related records in compliance with GDP.
- Operates and cleans equipment following established instructions and escalates equipment issues or deviations.
- Supports execution of batch records and follows SOPs; may assist in SOP revisions under guidance.
- Participates in training and completes required cGMP and company training within defined timelines.
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment by following SOPs and housekeeping expectations.
- Communicates progress, issues, and observations to supervisors or senior associates.
- Collaborates with Manufacturing Associate II staff and other support groups to ensure workflow alignment.
- Performs basic oligo synthesis, purification, processing steps, and associated documentation with supervision.
- Performs other functions and duties as required
The skills and experience that you will bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in life science field or related field preferably in Chemistry/Biochemistry/Biology/Molecular Biology or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of experience in a Biochemistry manufacturing laboratory preferred
- Exposure in a cGMP/ ISO 7/ ISO 8 clean room environment desired
- Experience with executing SOPs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite desired
- Display strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and demonstrated problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
The anticipated salary range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00. The salary offer will depend on multiple factors which may include the successful candidate's skills, experience and other qualifications, as well as the location of the role.
