THE JOB:
Step into a dynamic, design-driven environment as a Maintenance Engineer at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, where innovation, style, and precision come together every day. In this hands-on role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining the comfort, functionality, and visual integrity of one of the Strip’s most distinctive resorts. From supporting essential building systems to ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, your work will help deliver an exceptional experience for both guests and employees, behind the scenes of a property known for creativity, energy, and attention to detail!
THE STARTING RATE: $39.02 / Per Hour
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Maintain and repair all equipment involved in the operation of boilers, compressors, refrigeration systems, generators, and any machinery powered by steam, electricity, gas, air, diesel, water, or other energy sources related to mechanical operations
- Inspect, maintain, and repair ride systems and supporting equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on ride systems and auxiliary equipment
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays
- Proficient in all phases of painting and wall covering, including preparation, application, and finishing techniques preferred
- Ability to work from blueprints and schematics, and interpret manufactures guidelines for the operation and maintenance of related equipment
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
