Are you a dependable and organized individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced automotive environment? Capital Ford Lincoln is seeking a Temporary Automotive Parts Runner to support our Parts and Service teams. This short-term position plays an important role in ensuring technicians receive the parts they need quickly and efficiently so repairs can be completed on time and to the highest standards.

As an Automotive Parts Runner, you will help keep our service operations moving by delivering parts, assisting with inventory tracking, and coordinating with the Parts team to ensure the right components are in the right place at the right time. Your attention to detail and reliability will help maintain smooth daily operations and support an exceptional experience for both our technicians and customers.

Responsibilities

Parts Delivery

  • Deliver automotive parts to Service Technicians in a timely and accurate manner

  • Ensure parts are delivered to the correct workstations and service bays

  • Assist with organizing parts for upcoming repairs to support efficient workflow

Inventory Support

  • Assist with maintaining and updating inventory records

  • Help monitor stock levels and notify the Parts team of any discrepancies

  • Support the organization and cleanliness of the parts storage areas

Communication

  • Coordinate with Parts Counter Specialists and Service staff regarding parts availability and delivery timing

  • Communicate any delays, shortages, or issues promptly to the appropriate team members

Customer & Team Support

  • Provide responsive and reliable support to Service Technicians

  • Contribute to a positive and efficient team environment

  • Help ensure a smooth and professional experience throughout the repair process

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to lift and carry heavier automotive parts when required

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Previous experience with automotive parts or inventory systems is considered an asset
