The Sales Talent Bench Pool, is a talent pooling initiative designed to acclimate and prepare professionals aspiring to be part of the Reed Elsevier Philippines’ growing Sales organization.
A crucial part of this initiative is a 90-day training program aimed at building and nurturing foundational selling skills, overall salesmanship, and acquainting the participants with REPH’s Sales products and processes.
We aim to develop and transition the participants from “Almost-There” Talents to “Ready-Now” Resources according to REPH standards and expectations.
By the end of the program, participants must be well-prepared to assume the roles of Sales Development Representatives, Account Executives, or Account Managers.
Accountabilities:
Makes outbound sales contact (including cold calling) and pursues sales leads to develop a portfolio of buying customers
Accepts orders, closes sales, maintains customer records and completes required documentation
Identifies and qualifies prospective customers and records sales prospecting activity in computer-based tracking systems
May have an assigned product line that may overlap other sales teams' territories
May have an individual or team sales quota and is likely to have a target earnings bonus or sales incentive opportunity
Able to follow set instructions and processes to complete work
Identifies the problem and all relevant issues in straightforward situations, assesses each using standard procedures and makes sound decisions
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree holder or Completed at least 2 years level in College (no back subjects/incomplete units
At least 2 years of lead generation or inside sales experience with proven successful sales background
Experience with heavy cold calling volume (50-100 outbound/day)
Appointment setting experience is preferred
Strong negotiation skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong detail orientation with the ability to follow defined processes
Strong time management skills
Familiarity with CRM tools
Amenable with working on a night shift
