Telemetry Technician - Junior

Position Requirements:

• Ability to operate and maintain various types of telemetry equipment including antennas, receivers, demodulators, bit synchronizers, recording devices and ancillary interfaces.
• Apply technical knowledge to accomplish fault isolation and maintenance of systems.
• Ability to interpret schematics and system drawings.
• Use of test equipment such as, oscilloscopes, digital voltmeters, power meters and signal generators.
• Maintain up-to-date logs and preventative maintenance schedules.
• Duties will be performed under direct supervision of higher-level technicians.
• Ensure Company and NASA procedures and policies are followed. 
• Perform various manual tasks, which may include lifting 40 lbs. or more and some climbing around antenna systems.
• Be able to travel at least 25% of the year, typically 2 or more trips.

Education and Experience

***Open only to United States Citizens***

Two years technical education/ Associate degree in Electronics related field or relevant military training.

Experience with telemetry ground station equipment or RF/Sat communications systems.

Experience with mobile systems preferred.

Be able to hold and maintain a secret clearance

Safety and quality awareness and compliance are required. Shift work may be required. Assignments may change or vary.
