Job Summary: You will serve as a TELECOMMUNICATIONS MANAGER in the PROGRAMS AND PORTFOLIO BRANCH, G-6 DIRECTORATE of MARCORPS NATIONAL CAPITAL REGION. Major Duties:

  • You will develop specialized telecommunication plans for implementing short- and long-range communications facilities program goals in subordinate organizations.
  • You will provide advice on program issues that required assessment of unusual circumstances or development of new methods.
  • You will perform analytical studies involving issues related to key agency communication facilities programs and/or programs affecting one or several major Installation telecommunication organizations
  • You will direct diverse organizational functions that affected critical aspects of major agency programs
  • You will determine the need for strategic plans, policies, and procedures, and oversees the development of plans, guidelines, and policies, including recommending approval of final directives.
  • You will design and conduct a wide variety of comprehensive telecommunication systems engineering studies and detailed telecommunication analyses of complex system engineering functions.
  • You will identify and propose solutions to management problems that are of major importance to communications facilities and their telecommunications electronics planning program direction.

Qualifications: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performing communication facilities program planning and evaluation; developed specialized telecommunication plans for implementing short and long range communications facilities program goals; overseeing employees and performing human resource management functions related to supervising/managing.
