What this role is all about
As a Telecom Administrator in our Platform Operations team, you will play a key role in securing and enabling global messaging traffic for our customers. This is an entry-level, operations-focused role, ideal for someone who wants to build a career in the CPaaS / telecommunications industry and learn how large-scale messaging platforms operate behind the scenes.
Working under the guidance of a mentor and senior team members, you will support the registration of senders and traffic worldwide, ensuring compliance with local regulations, Mobile Network Operator (MNO) requirements, and Infobip’s internal standards. You will help maintain accurate sender databases, process registration requests, and contribute to a secure and reliable communication experience for end users across multiple channels.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure that all registration processes are completed accurately, on time, and in line with agreed procedures. You will be encouraged to continuously learn, participate in development sessions, and become well-versed in the tools, workflows, and technical processes that power sender registration for a global CPaaS platform.
What you’ll do
Register messaging traffic and senders worldwide, following defined procedures and timelines.
Administer and maintain Infobip’s senders database, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
Process customer sender registration requests and coordinate registration directly with MNOs and suppliers.
Contribute to traffic security and control by applying content restrictions, template registrations, and other compliance measures (internal and external).
Specialize over time in region-specific or product-based registration processes, becoming a go-to person for those areas.
Order numbers (VLN/Short Codes) and support the setup of two-way communication between our customers and end users.
Support registration for OTT and advanced channels, such as WhatsApp, Viber, KakaoTalk, Zalo, Telegram, Line, Internet of Things, Rich Content SMS, Mobile Identity, and Google Business Messages.
Ensure data accuracy and maintain an organized set of detailed records and files to document actions, decisions, and processes.
Cooperate with other departments to ensure compliance with all defined processes and regulatory requirements.
Keep a strong focus on end-user needs, supporting an excellent customer experience for both internal stakeholders and external clients.
Participate in continuing education sessions and actively build your knowledge of technical processes, tools, and workflows related to sender registrations.
What makes you a strong fit
Advanced level of English, both spoken and written (mandatory).
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Proactive, reliable, and willing to take ownership of tasks and follow through to completion.
Strong attention to detail and a structured, organized way of working.
Intermediate level of Excel (e.g., using formulas, filters, and pivot tables to analyze and manage data).
Previous experience in back office, customer support, or call center roles is a strong plus.
High level of customer focus, with awareness of end-user needs and the impact of registration quality on customer experience.
