As a Telco Security Governance Intern, you will gain hands-on exposure to cybersecurity governance, risk management, and security compliance within a telecommunications environment. You will support the Security team in tracking audit findings, coordinating security forums, and strengthening governance processes through structured follow-ups and stakeholder engagement. This internship is ideal for students interested in telecommunications security, governance, and cross-functional coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Follow up with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely closure of Deloitte security audit findings.
Closely track and coordinate the closure of EY Vulnerability Assessment (VA) programme findings.
Support the planning, coordination, and scheduling of the monthly Security Forum.
Compile Minutes of Meeting (MOM) and follow up on action items arising from the Security Forum.
Coordinate and support a Task Force focused on strengthening Telecommunications Security Governance initiatives.
Maintain tracking logs and documentation to support security governance reporting.
Value-Added Project
You will support a structured security governance improvement initiative, which may include developing tracking dashboards for audit findings, enhancing follow-up workflows, or analysing trends from security assessments. This project provides end-to-end exposure to governance coordination, stakeholder management, and security reporting within a telco environment.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Engineering, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field.
Strong communication and coordination skills; friendly, approachable, and confident in engaging stakeholders.
Fast learner with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail.
Prior exposure to office or project-based environments is an advantage.

Internship Period
