Job Description:

The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge in the following areas:

  • Experience in the telecommunications sector with understanding of carrier-grade, RAN, Edge, and 5G Core network architectures
  • Strong technical expertise in compute platforms used for vRAN / O-RAN workloads, cloud-native 5G Core, AI/ML telco applications, VNFs, and CNFs, with exposure to storage and networking
  • Knowledge of NEBS and carrier-grade requirements and their impact on infrastructure supporting RAN and Core deployments
  • Understanding of AI infrastructure needs in Telco (GPU acceleration, data pipelines, edge AI inference, and analytics)
  • Experience working with cross-functional product and engineering teams in new product introduction or enablement programs
  • Ability to engage with customers at a technical level and translate RAN, Core, and AI infrastructure requirements into structured deliverables

 

Roles and Responsibilities include:

  • Engage with Telco customers worldwide and qualify Lead customers for strategic projects
  • Establish a comprehensive understanding of customer technology goals over the next 12 to 36 months across RAN evolution, Edge deployments, 5G/6G Core transformation, and AI adoption
  • Identify early adoption opportunities for next-generation Edge platforms and infrastructure supporting vRAN, cloud-native Core, and AI-enabled network functions
  • Translate customer technology roadmaps into actionable platform and infrastructure requirements
  • Position solutions aligned with customer RAN modernization, Core cloudification, AI-driven automation, and network transformation strategies
  • Build long-term technical relationships with key customer architects across RAN, Core, and AI domains
  • Capture field insights and feed them into product, roadmap, and enablement planning
  • Collaborate & align with the CTO organization to ensure the Telco portfolio evolves in line with long-term technology strategy and architectural direction.
  • Drive portfolio governance and lifecycle alignment across Edge, RAN, Core, and AI domains
  • Ensure alignment between customer feedback, hardware roadmap evolution, and portfolio engineering
  • Coordinate with Telco HW/SW portfolio engineering, vendor/partner engineering, OEM teams, and hardware roadmap stakeholders
  • Plan and lead enablement activities for platforms supporting Telco Edge, RAN, 5G Core, and AI workloads
  • Define and manage new product requirements in coordination with product and engineering teams for RAN, Core, and AI use cases
  • Support beta programs and validation activities for platforms targeting RAN, Core, and AI infrastructure environments
  • Maintain carrier-grade and NEBS technical documentation and option tables
  • Act as communication bridge between internal and external engineering teams

 

Preferred Skills: 

  • Strong communication and coordination skills across technical and business teams, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of O-RAN / vRAN (DU/CU), 5G Core architectures, Edge deployments, and carrier-grade Telco environments
  • Familiarity with cloud-native telco infrastructure, virtualization, SDN, orchestration frameworks, and containerized network functions
  • Knowledge of AI/ML infrastructure in Telco, including GPU-based platforms, model deployment, edge inference, and automation use cases
  • Ability to manage multiple parallel initiatives in a structured manner and work effectively in geographically distributed teams
  • Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of cross-organizational and cross-domain initiatives
