Wells Fargo is seeking a Technology Workplace Lead Consultant (Lead Technology Business Services Consultant), as part of the Technology Management and Resiliency group.

In this role, you will serve as a strategic consultant, translating complex workforce, workplace, and capacity data into clear, actionable insights that inform key Technology leadership decisions.

You will integrate data from multiple sources—including workforce, space, capacity, and operational inputs—to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. This role requires developing compelling, data-driven narratives that influence workplace strategy, location planning, capacity management, and broader workforce initiatives.

You will partner closely with Workplace Strategy leaders, HR, and Corporate Properties to ensure data integrity, alignment, and readiness for decision-making.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead or participate in managing and supporting the delivery of technology products and services of high profile business unit clients and contribute to large scale solutions planning related to Technology Business Services
  • Ensure service quality and cost effectiveness of solutions
  • Review customer information with the technology team and implement technical initiatives for highly complex projects impacting multiple lines of business or across the enterprise
  • Understand and ensure compliance and risk management requirements for supported area and work with other stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
  • Make decisions in complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of managing multiple medium technology development efforts that influence and lead broader work team and drive new initiatives
  • Collaborate and consult with the technology team and more experienced management within Technology Business Services functional area to resolve Information Technology issues and provide customers with best possible solutions
  • Provide guidance on leveraging new technology
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams (Workforce Strategy, Workforce Leads, HR, Technology Analytics, CPG) to drive clarity and alignment in data interpretations
  • Translate detailed analysis into clear executive‑level stories, outlining implications, tradeoffs, and recommended actions for Technology leadership related to workplace strategy, space planning, and workforce initiatives
  • Perform advanced data analysis related to workforce trends, hiring patterns, mobility, space and seating capacity, utilization, and location pressure to proactively identify risks and opportunities
  • Integrate data from multiple sources (e.g., workforce systems, space planning and seating data, move and capacity inputs, operational tools) into a single, decision‑ready narrative
  • Lead or support the delivery of technology services contributing to large scale Technology Business Services solution planning

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Information Technology in support of Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with advanced proficiency in Excel and the ability to work with large, complex datasets
  • Proven experience supporting workforce or workplace operational metrics, including trend analysis, capacity planning, forecasting, and utilization analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize data into clear, compelling narratives that drive leadership decision-making
  • Experience working in complex, cross-functional environments, with the ability to influence stakeholders through data-driven insights
  • Strong critical-thinking skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and manage competing priorities effectively
  • Sound judgment in balancing speed, rigor, and risk, with an understanding of regulatory, reputational, and people-related risk considerations
  • Track record of proactively developing recommendations and actionable options—not just presenting data or identifying issues
