Senior ManagerJob Description & Summary
Step into a senior leadership role with PwC’s Insurance and Transformation Consulting team as our Customer & Business Transformation Senior Manager in a hybrid work model. You’ll lead end‑to‑end programmes across underwriting, claims, policy administration and distribution, partnering with senior client executives and lead complex, technology‑enabled transformation programmes for insurance clients. You will shape core systems transformation strategies, oversee large delivery teams, and ensure that technology investments enable sustainable business and customer value.
Key Responsibilities
Guide and oversee large‑scale core systems and digital transformation engagements within insurance, working collaboratively with clients and teams to deliver meaningful outcomes
Define transformation delivery roadmaps and technology‑enabled business strategies aligned to client objectives.
Provide senior leadership and quality assurance across multiple technology and business workstreams.
Act as a senior advisor to client executives on core systems modernisation and digital enablement.
Develop PwC capability through coaching, mentoring, and contribution to practice growth and propositions.
Lead and motivate cross-functional project teams, working closely with senior client executives and key stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met and programme governance is maintained.
Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle from business case development through design, implementation, and post-deployment reviews, ensuring timely and quality deliverables.
Communicate complex insurance and transformation concepts clearly and persuasively, tailoring messaging for diverse audiences including C-suite executives, technical teams, and client operational staff.
Build and maintain strong relationships with technology vendors and alliance partners.
Collaborate on shaping innovative insurance solutions addressing regulatory changes, digital disruption, changing customer expectations, and emerging technology adoption.
Foster strong relationships internally within PwC and externally with clients and key partners to support collaborative delivery and knowledge sharing.
Stay up to date with the latest trends and regulatory developments affecting the insurance industry globally and regionally, integrating these insights into your consulting approach to deliver forward-looking advice and solutions.
Experience & Skills
Proven demonstrable experience of 8 – 10 years leading core systems or large technology‑enabled transformation programmes for the Insurance sector (life, non-life, re-insurance, or specialty lines)
Deep knowledge of insurance platforms (e.g. Policy Administration, Claims ecosystems) and their business impact.
Collaborative leadership, commercial and stakeholder partnership capabilities at executive level.
Experience building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and leading teams in a collaborative, inclusive way
Proven ability to align technology change with business strategy and operating model outcomes.
