Roles Description
The Employee Technology Support Manager will be responsible for overseeing our UK based employee technology support teams and ensuring all employee issues are dealt with in accordance with our service levels.
This role requires strong technical experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead and mentor a team and remain calm under pressure.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in driving technology initiatives forward and helping our employees stay up to date with the latest technologies all while maintaining a stable support environment.
Key responsibilities.
Responsible for the day-day management of our Employee Technology Support teams in the UK.
Provide training and support to employees to help improve their technology knowledge and use of our internal digital support channels.
Collaborate with various departments to evaluate, test, and implement new tech solutions.
Create and maintain documentation of technology systems and processes in accordance with our governance framework.
Stay up to date with emerging technology trends and make recommendations for improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Drive a risk culture across the team and work alongside risk partners to flag issues and work through resolution where appropriate.
Contribute towards internal governance routines and metrics measurement.
Participate in coordinated issues resolution of outages though central command centre routines.
Required Qualifications
Candidate should have a strong track record of leading technology support teams.
Good technical knowledge and understanding of computer systems, hardware, and software.
Proficient in office suite and other collaboration solutions.
Experience with project management and implementation of new solutions.
Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
Experience of working in a large financial/technology org in a similar role
