Job Description

In this role, you will:

  • Support the day-to-day operations of PC’s, servers, and networking equipment for the manufacturing location. Coordinate small to medium size IT (Information Technology) projects for the plant and contribute to large IT projects.
  • Support site personnel in the office and manufacturing areas. Key stakeholder and working relationships will be established with engineering, infrastructure, and business depending on the assignment and project scope.
  • Work within the ITS (Information Technology Services) Infrastructure Coordination & Delivery Manager’s Team and may take functional work directions from others at the facility.
  • Install and support network equipment with guidance from Network Operations team.
  • Coordinate or perform new physical or virtual server installation, IOS upgrades, critical patching, and maintenance with assistance from the server team.
  • End to end roadmap ownership including ordering, imaging, troubleshooting, and maintaining accurate inventory management through Service-Now.
  • Manage multi-function devices and printer fleet. Procure and provide basic support, escalate issues to printer vendors.
  • Install and support UC equipment with assistance from the UC operations team.
  • Assist with new equipment requests and some configuration.
  • Document and coordinate IT hardware surplus equipment process for inventory purposes and asset disposal.
  • Provide operational support to the mill related to computer systems and installed applications, resolve minor infrastructure problems, and escalate higher impact issues.
  • Lead the planning and execution of mill infrastructure projects.
  • Manage and coordinate local Infrastructure vendors work at site.
  • Ensure LAN/WAN and related computer systems are compliant within established control procedures.
  • Review and control access to MDF and other sensitive areas with established control procedures.
  • Maintain site IT Business Continuity Plan.
  • Maintain a 1 to 3-year IT plan.
  • Seek out and relay future technology recommendations between mill and centralized technology teams.
  • Coordinate technology recommendations and changes from other teams.
  • Perform site IT administration support, request new employee accounts (LAN, email, etc.), provide IT on-board training. Procures IT infrastructure components according to Kimberly-Clark established procurement process.
  • Provide education to mill users on Kimberly-Clark available technologies and their proper use. Manage communication plans for recent technological implementations.
  • Facilitate collaboration between stakeholders who share common objectives.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to quality performance through personal example by adopting a customer-based philosophy in the level of service provided.
  • Demonstrate an analytical and systematic approach to problem solving.
  • Rapidly absorb new technical information and apply it effectively.

In one of our manufacturing roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience with proven technical skills. Proficient in troubleshooting computer issues. Experienced with Windows operating systems (XP, 7, 10, 11), Windows Server (2003, 2008, 2012), and SQL Server (2003–2019). Knowledgeable in Cisco networking, LAN/WAN, wireless networks, and firewalls. Skilled in Microsoft Office, Office 365, SharePoint, and mobile devices (iOS, Android).
  • 5+ years of relevant technical experience, or 7+ years of hands-on IT work with proven skills. Strong troubleshooting abilities for computer issues. Proficient with Windows operating systems (XP, 7, 10, 11), Windows Server (2003, 2008, 2012), and SQL Server (2003–2019). Experienced in Cisco networking, LAN/WAN, wireless networks, and firewalls. Skilled in Microsoft Office, Office 365, SharePoint, and mobile devices (iOS, Android).
  • Ticketing system management for Incident and Request tracking (i.e.: Service Now).
  • Carry out all work safely. Adhere to plant security policies.
  • Carry out assigned tasks in a timely, diligent, and professional manner.
  • Establish proactive, confidence-inspiring clients and support team relationships to ensure support, maintenance and project work meet business goals.
  • Contribute to an environment in which all team members are respected regardless of their individual differences and are motivated to improve both their individual and team contributions to achieve desired business results.
  • Communicate with local management and staff in non-technical terms.
  • Adherence to Kimberly-Clark standards and procedures.
  • Ability to work off business hours as required.
  • On-Call outside of business hours to support critical incident.
  • Occasional traveling may be required for training or project purposes (5%).

Salary Range: 79,880 – 94,440 USD

 

At Kimberly-Clark, pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package, which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve, thrive and grow. Along with base pay, this position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite, including our 401(k) and Profit Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors, such as location, role, skills, performance, and experience. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.
