Summary
We are looking for a Technology Procurement Manager to help shape a disciplined, secure, and cost-effective technology ecosystem that supports our business today and as we grow. This role sits at the intersection of IT, Security, Legal, and Finance, and will have meaningful influence over how technology vendors are selected, governed, and renewed across the firm.
Position Responsibilities
Own the Technology Procurement Lifecycle: Lead end-to-end procurement for technology vendors, with a primary focus on SaaS, cloud services, and hardware.
Contract Management: Manage the full contract lifecycle including sourcing, RFPs, negotiation, execution, renewals, and off-boarding.
Renewal Roadmap: Build and maintain a forward-looking renewal roadmap to reduce risk, avoid auto-renewals, and improve negotiation leverage.
Cost Efficiency: Proactively identify cost-optimization opportunities across the technology portfolio without compromising service quality.
Commercial Strategy: Benchmark pricing, licensing models, and contract terms to ensure best-in-class commercial outcomes.
Financial Modeling: Develop and evaluate financial models (TCO, ROI, cost-avoidance) to support technology investment decisions.
Vendor Performance: Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with key vendors and value-added resellers, tracking performance and contractual compliance.
Risk and Compliance: Partner closely with Security and Legal teams to ensure vendors meet security, privacy, and compliance requirements.
Vendor Due Diligence: Support activities including reviews of SOC 2, ISO, data protection, and risk posture.
Risk Mitigation: Identify contractual, operational, and security risks early and help implement mitigation strategies.
Stakeholder Relationships: Act as a trusted partner to IT, Engineering, Design Technology, and business stakeholders.
Negotiation: Lead negotiations with senior vendor representatives and executive stakeholders.
Process Improvement: Improve procurement processes, documentation, and governance across the firm.
Leadership
Inspires and leads others by example, participates in staff mentoring and training, clearly defines team member expectations and responsibilities, empowers others, and delegates where appropriate based on team members' recognized abilities and potential.

Minimum Qualifications
7+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management, including 4+ years focused on technology procurement.
Deep experience negotiating SaaS, cloud, and hardware agreements, including complex, multi-year and multi-million-dollar contracts.
Strong understanding of technology licensing models, commercial structures, and contract terms.
Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable cost savings and risk reduction.
Strong analytical skills with experience building financial and cost models.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with comfort engaging technical teams and executives.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) organizations and their technology ecosystems.
Familiarity with negotiations such as Autodesk, Dassault Systèmes, Microsoft, Salesforce, Workday, and project collaboration tools.
Hands-on experience with procure-to-pay (P2P) platforms such as Coupa, Jaggaer, or Procurify.
Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, MS Dynamics, DelTek Vision / VantagePoint) and leveraging procurement data for analysis and reporting.
Experience with e-signature platforms and workflows such as Adobe Sign.
Exposure to vendor risk management platforms such as Vanta and security assessment frameworks.

Compensation for this role is based upon experience, qualifications, location, and education and typically ranges from $140,000 to $160,000.
