Position Overview:

The Technology Process Analyst will work closely with the Head of Technology to design, implement, and run a Process Excellence Program for the Technology Services team in support of the Braves organization.  This function will include process flow design, benchmarking, and continuous process improvement (CPI) using Lean and Agile methodologies.  Change Management will be a key component requiring strong leadership and communication skills.

Technology Services is a crucial enabler of The Braves’ success by delivering reliable, high-performance Technology systems and infrastructure. Technology Services works closely with business partners to improve and transform technology-enabled capabilities and the value of the Technology investment portfolio through innovation, execution, and an outstanding user experience.  Innovation, efficiency, and excellence are critical success factors.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Develop a Process Excellence Strategy and Roadmap that includes people, process, and tools necessary to create a culture of CPI and Operational Excellence
  • Create a repository of all technology department documents with change controls
  • Create roadmap and action plan for key processes, using prioritization methodology based on revenue, cost, and user experience impact
  • Expand upon Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and benchmarks for key processes through collaboration with subject matter experts (SME’s)
  • Create Continuous Process Improvement program using Lean and Agile methodologies to optimize the operating environment
  • Implement operating cadence including scorecards to track results and impact (financial, operational, and user experience)
  • Identify and implement automation and tools
  • Manage Change Management policies and procedures for the department

Qualifications:

  • Technical undergraduate degree (ex. Industrial Engineering or Computer Science)
  • Exceptional Communication skills: verbal (presentation) and written (documentation)
  • Strong Leadership skills, grounded in self-confidence, self-motivation, and high standards of excellence
  • Strong Analytical and Process Management skillset with an ability to learn quickly and adapt as necessary
  • Program and Project Management skills and experience with tools
  • Team player who demonstrates flexibility and enthusiasm in attitude and approach
  • Some professional experience, either internships, co-ops, or full time
  • Proficient with Microsoft suite of applications

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Tableau, Salesforce.com, Workday, SQL
  • Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, SAFE certification
  • Professional certifications: Cisco Networking, Microsoft, Cybersecurity
  • Programming (Python, R) and/or experience with automation tools
