Technology Manager, Regulatory Compliance Management

What is the opportunity?

As Technology Manager, RCM, you will be the main point of contact representing Compliance globally to ensure the maintenance and enhancements of Regulatory Compliance Technology. You will partner with Information Technology and Segment Compliance teams to analyze, research, document, manage and implement system enhancements while planning, directing and coordinating activities of assigned projects to ensure timely completion of project objectives. You will support in responding to system user inquiries and performing and overseeing Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT) and production environment User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validation and ongoing maintenance of the RegComp Archer platform.

What will you do? 

• Provide RCM business support for the RegComp Archer platform, including management/oversight of Change Requests submitted by stakeholders to ensure all access/non-user access requests related to the RegComp tool are fulfilled and maintain documentation for the access/non-user access request process.

• Manage the end-to-end process for implementing system enhancements, including but not limited to, maintaining a backlog of system enhancements and working closely with stakeholders to prioritize their technology needs, documenting user stories for system enhancements, ensuring timely and accurate execution of system enhancements and organizing, overseeing and supporting in UAT and PIV activities for technology releases.

• Support technical issue resolution activities, such as investigating root causes of system issues and coordinating with the Archer Production Support team and internal teams to ensure defects and issues are resolved in a timely manner. Communicate system outages or defects to end users on a timely basis and supporting with brainstorming technical solutions or workarounds.

• Maintain all system-related documentation including user guides, system manuals and training materials to ensure they are accurate, relevant and up to date.

• Provide quick, agile and effective stakeholder support to resolve issues and to enhance users’ understanding of the platform through performing walkthroughs and training sessions, as required.

• Perform data/statistical analysis and reporting for RCM, as required.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have 

• University degree in business, finance or a related field

• Compliance and/or technology support experience obtained in a financial institution or other relevant organization.

• Strong data analytics and organization skills, including tracking, analyzing and filtering through large data sets using Microsoft Excel; keen attention to detail when performing tasks to ensure data accuracy.

• Proficiency with database management systems/applications; ability to understand and test technology changes.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills; stakeholder relationship management capability and collaboration; ability to prepare succinct and accurate reporting and proactively discuss issues with end users to help troubleshoot.

• Strong time management skills; ability to effectively prioritize competing tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environment; ability to work with a wide group of stakeholders and manage competing demands.

Nice-to-have 

• Solid understanding of organization structure and culture at a large FI.

• Familiarity with Visio, JIRA, Archer based applications

• Deep understanding of the RCM and Reliance Model programs at a large FI.
