Reporting into the Director of Technology Innovation & Data, the Assistant Manager will support the efficient operation and maintenance of all computer systems, data, and voice communication activities at the property, ensuring smooth day-to-day functionality and high service standards.
What will you do:
Support the effective operation of all IT systems, ensuring critical systems are consistently available and functioning Provide systems administration including maintaining user/group accounts, user configuration, trouble shooting access problems and completion of on-site documentation
Assist in establishing and maintaining user procedures, as well as hardware and system familiarization for all users Participate in technology implementations, contributing to technology capital and operating budgets
Provide systems administration support including user/group account management, user configuration, troubleshooting access issues, and maintaining on-site documentation
Collaborate in technology implementations and contribute to the planning of technology-related capital and operational budgets
Provide direct support to guests, as well as to function rooms and conference services, ensuring seamless technology experiences
What you bring:
A technical background, with MSCE certification or strong networking skills, and experience supporting complex systems and networks
Ability to assist the Director of IT with the day to day coordination of the IT department
An understanding of the purpose and reasons for internal controls, and ideally have familiarity with hotel quality and service standards with a strong commitment to service
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills to work with cross-functional teams
Proactive and inquisitive mind set to develop problem solving, decision making, and strategic thinking skills
Fluency in English and Italian

This position is based at the San Domenico Palace in Taormina and the contract is fixed term. You must possess the legal right to work in Italy.
