  • As a Technology Initiative Management PMO within CB Technology, you will lead the governance and execution of a diverse portfolio of technology initiatives. These initiatives originate from internal CB domains and external stakeholders, requiring strong cross-functional collaboration and strategic alignment. You will work closely with CIO Domain representatives, Central TDI Infrastructure, and CB Tribes to drive modernization, cost optimization, and compliance across the technology estate.

Your key responsibilities

  • Define and Deliver Technology Initiatives
    Partner with CIOs, Tribe Leads, Portfolio Owners, Domain Architects, and Application Owners to define, track, and implement technology initiatives that deliver measurable benefits to Corporate Banking.
  • Align with Organizational Strategy
    Collaborate with Infrastructure Estate Managers, Tech Roadmap Compliance, TDI, and Cloud teams to ensure plans align with broader organizational goals and technology roadmaps.
  • Provide Executive-Level Reporting
    Design and deliver clear, insightful management reporting that communicates the status, progress, and impact of technology initiatives up to board level.
  • Manage Application Ownership and Lifecycle
    Maintain the structure of application ownership across CB business areas and Tribes, ensuring clarity and accountability throughout the application lifecycle.
  • Drive Legacy Decommissioning
    Lead and support the decommissioning of legacy applications in Corporate Bank Technology, ensuring compliance with established processes and timelines.
  • Ensure Data Quality and Governance
    Oversee and maintain high-quality data in the application inventory system (NAR) as the IT Application Inventory Representative, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Advance Compliance and Cost Optimization
    Engage stakeholders to drive application compliance, cost-saving initiatives, and identify Run-the-Bank (RTB) optimization opportunities.
  • Own Strategic Workstreams
    Take ownership of specific optimization streams, delivering outcomes that balance risk, benefits, and potential conflicts.
  • Champion Continuous Improvement and Innovation
    Identify emerging technologies and process improvements to enhance application estate management and operational efficiency.
  • Manage Risk and Regulatory Compliance
    Proactively identify risks related to application dependencies, obsolescence, and compliance gaps, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Define and Track KPIs
    Establish key performance indicators for application estate health and optimization initiatives, using data-driven insights to inform decisions.
  • Facilitate Collaboration and Influence
    Act as a trusted advisor and facilitator across teams and networks, generating well-considered solutions and fostering alignment.
  • Be a Visible Leader
    Serve as a positive and influential Application Estate Manager who inspires trust, confidence, and engagement across the organization.

Your skills and experience

  • Education & Background
    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Project & Program Management
    Demonstrated ability to manage complex technology initiatives, with strong planning, prioritization, and delivery skills.
  • Strategic Thinking & Problem Solving
    Proven capability to analyze challenges, identify opportunities, and develop solutions that balance risk, cost, and business benefit.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting
    Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and present findings clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • Collaboration & Influence
    Exceptional interpersonal and networking skills to build relationships and influence across diverse teams and senior leadership.
  • Technical Knowledge
    Familiarity with agile software development practices and modern technology delivery models.
    Experience with Enterprise Architecture principles and frameworks is highly advantageous.
  • Change Leadership
    Ability to act proactively, drive transformation, and inspire confidence in a dynamic environment.
