SUMMARY:

The Project Manager is responsible for supporting JPMC in all aspects of the deployment of the Starlink deployment program to the JPMC Retail Branch nationwide estate. The Project Manager will serve as the primary lead for the Starlink program, overseeing cross-functional vendor collaboration and ensuring seamless execution of network installation and deliverables are provided to all related internal JPMC departments. This role demands high organizational agility, technical familiarity, and stakeholder engagement.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

Program Coordination

  • Lead day-to-day coordination across vendors, engineering teams, and client stakeholders.
  • Track workflow progress using tools like Excel, Jira, Monday.com and Smartsheet 
  • Shipping of vendor and/or JPMC devices to vendor
  • Ensure readiness for site conversions and maintain accurate status logs

Technical Oversight

  • Assist in oversight of support activities involving satellite service, roof surveys, cellular devices, SD-WAN appliances and wireless access points  
  • Assist in oversight of circuit installations, testing, and turn-ups for satellite and DIA internet circuits

Vendor Management

  • Act as liaison between field resources and network engineers 
  • Coordinate circuit turn ups, surveys and field deployments to ensure proper activation sequences 
  • Manage deliverables including before/after photos, capture circuit and produce ID information, manage inventory documentation 

 Communication & Reporting

  • Provide regular updates to internal and external teams.
  • Maintain clear documentation of site status, open items, and deployment milestones.
  • Participate in intake meetings, sync calls, and deployment coordination sessions

COMPETENCIES:

  • Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office suite
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proficient time management skills; sense of urgency
  • Basic skills in Monday.com or similar product (SmartSheet)
  • Ability to track individual deployments across multiple branch locations in a single day
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt process changes mid-stream
  • Ability to work flexible hours and available afterhours/weekends if required to meet project completion dates

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • 4-8 years’ experience in project management in technology and/or infrastructure programs
  • Experience using PC in business environment including MS Office

PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Exposure to technology in the financial industry is a plus
  • Exposure to Monday.com is a plus
  • Familiarity with network equipment such as satellite dishes, wireless access points, routers, switches and cellular devices
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • PMP certification preferred by not required
