This role focuses on helping teams safely and effectively use GenAI, automation, and emerging technologies to solve real business problems and improve how work gets done. You will connect strategy with hands-on delivery, enabling practical innovation that can be adopted at scale across the organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support four cross functional Innovation Squads from discovery through adoption

  • Establish and evolve a practical, enterprise ready approach to innovation in ways of working

  • Identify, test, and scale solutions that address real business needs

  • Partner with Product, UX, Technology, STMJ, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment and impact

  • Make pragmatic build, buy, or partner decisions to deliver value efficiently

  • Translate experiments into repeatable practices that can be embedded into the enterprise SDLC

  • Ensure innovation activity aligns with architecture, governance, and risk standards

  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with senior leaders and delivery teams

  • Define and track success measures focused on adoption and business outcomes

  • Provide clear, accessible updates and insights to executive stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Experience leading or influencing technology delivery in complex, multiteam environments

  • Working knowledge of modern software delivery approaches (e.g. Spec driven development, end to end SDLC processes, platforms or similar)

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders

  • Practical understanding of how GenAI and emerging technologies can support people and workflows

  • Ability to assess value, risk, and impact beyond the technology itself

  • Systems thinking, with an understanding of how people, process, technology, and risk connect

  • Evidence led decision making skills, using data, learning, and experimentation

  • Comfort working with ambiguity, change, and evolving priorities

  • Ability to influence and lead change without relying on formal authority

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly and accessibly
