The role blends technical leadership, delivery management, analysis and modern engineering practices, ensuring Mylo continues to provide exceptional digital experiences for customers across iOS and Android.

  • Guiding teams in making decisions that balance customer value, technical sustainability and risk.

  • Leading technical planning, estimation and delivery for all Mylo engineering initiatives.

  • Contributing to hands‑on engineering where beneficial, covering areas such as code development, architecture shaping, mobile automation, or cloud engineering.

  • Ensuring Mylo’s mobile app is performant, resilient, secure and continuously improved.

  • Owning service quality, including performance tuning, resilience improvements and reduction of technical debt.

  • Applying structured analysis to engineering data, app telemetry, customer behaviour insights and delivery metrics to identify trends, diagnose issues and drive data‑informed decisions across Mylo.

  • Enabling high‑performing teams by embedding modern engineering practices including Agile delivery, continuous integration, continuous deployment, DevSecOps, mobile observability, and SRE principles.

  • Driving continuous improvement, ensuring processes, tools, and practices evolve to support rapid and safe mobile app delivery.

  • Championing automation, including automated testing, automated deployments, monitoring, and operational automation for Mylo.

  • Promoting a strong engineering culture focused on quality, learning and experimentation.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

  • Experience building and delivering high‑quality digital or mobile software solutions within cross‑functional teams.

  • A background in engineering, architecture, DevOps, technical analysis, or automated testing.

  • Strong understanding of the engineering lifecycle including branching strategies, code reviews, release governance, and change control.

  • Experience with build automation, deployment pipelines, cloud engineering, observability, and operational readiness for customer‑facing apps.

  • Experience working with Agile and modern engineering practices.

  • Have strong technical breadth enabling effective leadership across mobile engineering, backend services supporting Mylo, cloud infrastructure and integration patterns.

  • Experience with modern engineering toolchains (e.g., GitHub, Bitbucket, CI/CD pipelines).

  • Ability to lead technical discussions and guide architectural decision‑making.

  • Experience applying automation and modern delivery practices to enhance quality and speed.

  • Have strong influencing and leadership skills with the ability to guide teams without relying on formal line management.

  • Have strong communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across engineering, product, and leadership.
