The opportunity
Impactful Role: Join a newly established Technology Compliance team at Unity, playing a pivotal part in shaping the control environment and maintaining global standards like SOX, SOC, and ISO 27001.

Core Focus: Own the end-to-end lifecycle of IT General Controls (ITGC), from evidence collection (PBC) and quality assurance to leading external audit walkthroughs and automating control testing.

Tech-Forward Environment: Apply your expertise within a modern stack, gaining exposure to cloud and development technologies including GCP, AWS, GKE, Terraform, and GitHub.

Ideal Profile: A detail-oriented professional with 2-3 years of experience in IT Audit/SOX testing, strong documentation skills, and a desire to drive automation using tools like AuditBoard.

This is a hybrid role based in our Bangalore office. This position requires working during late evening hours from 2 PM to 11 PM (IST), with a 1-hour lunch break included. Are you available to work during these Non-Shift hours?

What you'll be doing

  • Execute End-to-End Controls: Own the day-to-day execution and documentation of ITGC, ITAC, and IPE controls, ensuring Unity maintains a robust and audit-ready control environment.
  • Drive Audit Excellence: Act as a key liaison for external auditors by managing PBC evidence collection, validating scope, and coordinating technical walkthroughs with control owners.
  • Ensuring Quality & Compliance: Perform rigorous Quality Assurance (QA) reviews on control performance and conduct Segregation of Duties (SOD) analyses to identify and mitigate critical access conflicts.
  • Modernize Compliance Workflows: Identify and implement automation opportunities within the control testing lifecycle and manage compliance health through AuditBoard.
  • Collaborate Globally: Partner with cross-functional teams across the US and Europe to remediate deficiencies and ensure compliance across cloud-native environments (AWS/GCP).

What we're looking for

  • Audit & Compliance Expertise: Technical proficiency in testing and executing IT General Controls (ITGC) under frameworks such as SOX, SOC, PCI, or ISO 27001.
  • Infrastructure Literacy: Foundational knowledge of cloud and development environments, specifically evidence preparation for AWS, GCP, Terraform, and GitHub.
  • Control Management Tools: Hands-on experience managing audit workflows, evidence repositories, and control performance tracking within AuditBoard.
  • Access Governance: Proficiency in conducting Segregation of Duties (SOD) analysis and identifying access conflicts across diverse systems.
  • Audit Coordination: Ability to facilitate technical walkthroughs with external auditors and manage the full Provided by Client (PBC) evidence lifecycle.

You might also have

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field (e.g., BE, MCA, MSC).
  • Experience: Relevant experience in SOX testing, SOC, PCI, ISO 27001 or IT audit/compliance.
  • Preferable to have CISA or any relevant certification but not mandatory
